Clean drinking water

Here is a visual for the gap between you and the poorest two billion people in this world. Imagine not having access to clean drinking water and then imagine being so rich you can take perfectly palatable water and just poop in it. Daily. Sometimes twice daily!

I keep playing with unmounting the flash.  Of course it still has some pretty dark shadows. But it doesn’t have a washed out look neither.  I think this one is very well.

I was feeling crafty the other day and I pieced together a ring flash, twice. Version two worked well. Version 1, not so well.

I was also able to lure some friends into letting me shoot them.

Repetition

Repetition, repetition!

Repetition is used to attract attention, make sure people are paying attention, to emphasize a point, or to just irritate people. Visually, repetition can be used to achieve the very same things. Also, thematically speaking, repetition can be incorporated into images to convey qualities of conformity, accord and harmony.

So this week, take a photo that uses repetition to emphasize something, show order, or attract notice.

This weeks freestyle assignment has the phrase:

“There is no reason this can’t happen.”

Think for a while, and come up with a cool visual interpretation of that phrase.  Or a photo that might have that as its title.  Enjoy!
